Unable to load this clip error when adding audio file

Fiqa Nor 5 months ago in Android updated by Jannah Expresso 1 month ago 12 3 duplicates

Whenever I try to add my own audio file into animation I get below error message.

I have tried soo many times (with other audio file too) but it still doesn't work..it has never been like that before...I guess it was around...last two month..since it says it can't load the audio.

Hello,

Can you please share audio clip that you are trying to add here with us so we can reproduce the issue?

Also, please send us a bug report as soon as this issue happens so we can take a look at the possible cause.

Go to FlipaClip settings (gear icon on the top left) then find “Debug” and click on “Bug Report”. It will generate a file that you can attach here.

Thank you for providing the audio file. It is working fine on our side so let's check what exactly is causing the issue.

Please send us a bug report so we can check. Right after this issue happens (when you try to add audio and it fails) go to FlipaClip settings (gear icon on the top left) then find “Debug” and click on “Bug Report”. It will generate a file that you will email to us.

In the email please include a link to this forum post and let me know here once you send it so we can find it easier :)

Thanks,

Dusan

Hi just wanted to follow up on this and see if you can provide us with a bug report so we can check your issue further.

Thanks!

Hey,

Can you please answer below questions so we can understand your issue better:

1. After selecting the audio file are you selecting the start and end times to be imported? Or are you simply importing without changing the start and end times?
2. After the import is complete you see the audio clip floating ready to be dragged into a track? If you do see it does it have the audio waveform drawn in it? Or do you see just a red line like silence and maybe (!) sign on the top left corner?
3. Do you drag the audio clip into a track and after dropping it gives you the error?
4. Or do you only get the error when tapping on the audio clip?

Thank you :)

Hey Dusan,

I just experienced the same thing after I choose to upgrade my app last night. Since the 5.99 purchase to get rid of ads while adding audio, I started getting the same exact error on my Samsung Note 10.1 tablet. I was able to add a 7min (65mb) narration WAV file before the upgrade but I was interested in getting all the features since my son and I were working on a "Draw my Life" project for his school. We were also trying to make our project smaller so we compressed the WAV file to 3mb and thats when we started seeing the problem.  To answer your questions:

1. Since we are using the entire file, no.

2. I only get to the point where the file populates in the app for review. The time stamp is across the top and I can play it but once I click on the check in the top right corner...the error appears..  [Selected audio type not supported. e-45] Now if I try another file it works.

3. if i try another file

4.N/A

Thank you in advance for your help with this.
