lollipop update, now movies won't play all the way through

Anonymous 5 years ago updated by Jona (Co-Founder & Lead Developer) 4 years ago 5
I use a brand new verizon samsung note 4. Have an animation that's over 300 pictures long. A work in progress. Progress has halted. I can't play the movie through, it locks up, and I can't flip through the pictures at the bottom. It does the same. Kicks me back to the project list. My shorter animations work fine.

Not sure where to go from here, as it worked fine until the automatic update.

Thanks for the email. I was able to determine that the app is running out of memory. I'll be investigating to resolve this.

Hey thanks for reporting a bug. Question...

Are you having issues with building a movie? or doing a live preview of the animation?

Live previews. I can't even flip through the frames past a certain point. I can hit the arrow to get to the end, and then work backwards, but it will lock me out about the same distance that way as well and reset the app.

It was suggested to me by some to reset my phone completely, but I"m not sure how to back up my projects.
Thanks for info. This maybe sounds like some memory issue. I don't think reseting your phone should be necessary.

Please try to reproduce the issue and right after trigger a bug report. The bug report option is under the flipaclip settings. The bug report should help us confirm what is causing the crash. Make sure to write a note or something on the email that the bug report will generate so we know what it is all about. :)

If you want to backup your project you will need to have the unlocker installed. You simply long press a project and press the share button at the top right corner of the screen.
I have sent in a bug report and labeled it.
