How to export animation with a transparent background?

I don't have the option for a transparent background. It disappears when the screen finishes loading, and I can't press it.

The transparent background option is only available when exporting to png sequence. The MP4 video format does not support transparent background. GIF does support transparency but on FlipaClip it currently does NOT support it. Please let me know if this answers your question.

Hi folks, here’s my solution for getting animated gifs with transparent background:

-if you’re on android use app “GifStudio” which has a background chroma key to transparency function

-if you’re on iOS create a black background layer, export video or gif with black background, then watch this:

click and hold on the 100% in the layer section. You can move it up or down for a different opacity

wait how do I adjust my background that I imported?

Yeah wanted to toggle it on and off to seems strange it’s not just a layer you can change the properties of

If you don't draw a background on a separate layer & export the PNG files you have your animation on a transparent background anyway :)

I transported it as png sequence but all it did was spam my files with separate animation frames. How do I make it animated like a GIF? I am making animated stickers on amino

Once I export the PNG sequence, I am unable to access the zip file that the app saves. I want to add my transparent bg sequence into a timeline so that I can edit further. How can I access the files?

I am experiencing the same as Charlie,

When I “Make Movie” as a transparent PNG Seq, it just sort of disappears on IPad Pro 3rd Gen. it is not in Files app or saved in the FlipaClip homepage with the other MP4s and GIFs? I have tried saving directly to Keynote app and IMovie, same thing occurs, no accessible file,

update, I have since found a way to view, out of order, individual FlipaClip frames in an iCloud Drive from the png sequence, but I really wish I could create just a transparent background 1 second clip without having to order and set frame rates externally

I have also been able to find the exported zip file in the folder on my iPad. Unfortunately the only way I have been able to access them is to email the zip file to myself and open them on a computer. I would like to be able to use them on the iPad, but at least I can edit them in a desktop program...
