Frames Viewer Image Export to Gallery

IanJTurner 2 years ago updated 1 year ago 7

There are lots of options for exporting (sharing) single images from the Frames Viewer - saving to whichever cloud storage or graphics apps that are installed. Unfortunately, on my device at least, there seems to be no simple Export to Gallery option.

Adding this would make it easy to use the drawing tools in FlipaClip to create a background image, which could then be exported to the gallery and imported via the Project Settings dialogue. This is already possible with the options mentioned above,  but it seems that the device's gallery would be the obvious place to store the exported image.

Next update we will be saving the shared image into the gallery! :)

I agree, this could be useful.

I'm thinking maybe we can add the shared image to "sdcard/flipaclip/shared" and automatically make the gallery see that folder. I think that would be ideal... What you think? You will still see the share options but you could just close it.

Great. Thanks. I agree that being able somehow to select a directory for export would be good.

I'm wondering if it would be possible to add a 'Use as Background Image' option to the Frame Viewer Share dialogue. I think this would be a very useful little addition.

I still don't seem to have the option to share images from the frames viewer to the gallery on my tablet.
