first off, congrat on the new update ! Great improvement on readback of animation, it now works like a charm ! Nice to be able to zoom out !
now of course i have some remarks :-)
you changed the color of the numbers which tell you the width of the lines. It is now black against a dark gray background, it makes it hard to read for my old eyes !
the pen on the left side of the pen window : i could be wrong but it seems to me there were levels of pressure associated to it, not anymore.
with the zoom in and out, it would be nice to know when one is at 100 %. Sometime i just want to export frames one by one, and i am using screen capture for that.
i know with some apps, touching the screen with 3 fingers would reset everything to the normal size.
anyway, the bottom line is, that this app kicks ass !
As Flipaclip is designed for phones and tablets, which by their nature have limited resources compared to laptops and desktop PCs, I find it best to split an animation into several smaller sections when working on a project. So I would have three projects of no more than 20 - 50 frames, rather than one large project . This also makes it easier to keep track of things, as well as being closer to the way one would work on a traditional pen and paper animation (where you could only really work on a handful of drawings at a time).
With this in mind, it would be great if the project window had a feature whereby you could group several small projects into one master project. This would make project management much easier. If, in addition, one was able to render all the projects contained in a master project into one movie (or image sequence), that would be fantastic.
Thanks for the idea. This is a direction we are currently exploring. We have thought of adding the ability to have scenes inside a project. This would allow you to work on the different animations for one project.
Also, we are looking into allowing projects to be grouped on the home page. Allowing to render various projects into one video is an interesting idea.
Can you fix this? it really sucks and I have to wait for it to stop lagging so I can draw it again. It turns into a line with a point at the end and I'm sorry but I don't know how to do screenshots.
At the moment you can't. We will add audio support soon.
Please see the following post about this feature request:
Need to save projects as my device is smashed and will be replaced. Is this possible at the time being? Basically like for like insurance will swap my device rather than repair it. So I really need to save the projects I have already begun. Hope there is a solution to save my work from being a waste of time :-)
The way you add a new frame by cloning the previous frame - would be great if you could go to any point in the film and insert a frame copied from the previous frame - I know you can do this in the frame window but it would be easier and more intuitive in the normal edit window...
As of FlipaClip v2 the requested features are now available! Simply long press the frame on the timeline to get the options.
How about the ability to move / reorder frames?
Open the "frames viewer", hold a frame then drag and drop to put it in other position.
This feature is now part of our latest release v188.8.131.52!
