If you spotted a bug and you want to let us know about it, first try searching for OPEN bug posts with the same issues and add any details you think might help us with it. Also, make sure to up vote the OPEN bug post so we know how critical it is. If no OPEN bug posts are found simply post a new one.
Common details we need for reported bugs:
- What device do you have?
- What OS version is it running?
- What happened?

Can you guys make it to where you can add audio/sounds/music to movies?
Wow, finally after countless hours, days, months and even years of work the audio feature has been completed on iOS and Android! I really hope you all can enjoy it and use it to create some amazing animations. Finally, closing this post as completed! Thanks again for your support and patience.
At the moment we don't have enough resources to work on a PC or Mac version of FlipaClip. However, it is something we would love to have.
In the meantime you can try BlueStacks. Essentially an Android emulator that runs on PC or Macs. We aren't sure how well FlipaClip will work but it's worth a shot for a free animation software! :)
We would like an iOS version!
Hey guys! I'm closing this post from any further conversations here. If you have bugs issues with the app it would really help me that we split these issues into new posts. If you notice someone else wrote a post about an issue that you are having, add your 2 cents to it. :) It will really help us get updates fast! Thanks!
It would be very nice if I could import bitmaps and transparent png's to use them as a object. And also import videos and gifs as objects or official background and with every new frame It starts a new frame in the video
Thanks Shane for providing some input about the issue. It is true that we use antialiasing to smooth out drawn lines. This causes some pixels to be a bit transparent or have a different color. Filling in the enclosed area is not perfect because it's very hard to set a default color check delta that works with all type of drawings. Because of that we have plans to provide a couple new options for the fill tool to control the color difference considered for replacement.
How can I import a drawing from jpeg source to work with, not as background.
At the moment there is no way to import an image into a frame layer. We have this as a planned feature.
Possibility for more brushes options? like min and max width and pressure options?
Maybe transparency on differents layers? to clean animation for example...
So the eraser by button is a rich idea ;-)
We are waiting for sound ;-)
THANK YOU Flipaclip !!
Updating this post with latest progress. All features requested have finally been implemented! We are only missing the advanced brushes settings but we will get to that very soon!
If there's one missing feature that means I have to take my project out of FlipaClip and onto the PC, it's the fact that I currently cannot make a single drawing hold for more than a single frame. This means that laying out key drawings to get a feel for the timing of an animation is not really possible. It also means that if, once you have your timing set up, you want to alter a 'hold' drawing, then you're going to have a LOT of copy/pasting to do.
It would be fantastic if you could grab the right hand side of a drawing on the timeline and drag it out to the desired number of frames - and if you could do this on a per-layer basis, then that would be even better.
Hope I don't sound like I'm complaining too much ... I love the app. :)
We are actually thinking about this more and more since this would solve those limitations/slowdown of multiple copy/pastes. The concept of keyframes or frame holds is a great one which would allow even better animations that are created faster.
I would love to be able to use this on my Chromebook! I want to create animations by drawing with my intuos tablet and there isn't any program that does this in the Chrome store. This app would be perfect...if I could install it on my Chromebook
As far as we know Chromebooks now support Android apps! We haven't tested FlipaClip but it should technically work fine!
