It would be very nice if I could import bitmaps and transparent png's to use them as a object. And also import videos and gifs as objects or official background and with every new frame It starts a new frame in the video

Thanks for your feedback! We do have planned to add support for those things. :) This will be our big release v2. We don't have a release date yet but we are already actively working on it.

Can you at least appreciate when it is finished?
We are working on it. We wanted to release before the end of this year but that might be to soon. The main issue is that at the moment the graphics designer is not able to work full-time. This is getting us delayed a bit further.. :(
Is the feature of import of images ready now?
No, currently you can't import images. You can only import an image as a background. What type of image import option are you looking for?
Png s that are a single layer and I can bind them to a drawing layer
Love the app.

I'm assuming the addition of video in v.2 is still in progress?... Has the end date for completion become any clearer?

Will it also include the addition of downloading images to use as objects as prior posted suggested?

It's been almost a year since our original reply. We are getting closer to a release. We got some major features completed. But still no release date. For sure before summer we want to provide the new update.

I keep checking the app store for updates, but there's nothing

I really could really use an update to use videos with animation, that will be great .

Hello, first off all I say thanks for this awesome app, it's better than I was dreaming for a years...

I want to help with this concept, in 1988 I had an Amiga 500 with 7,5Mhz and 512MB Ram.
I used an app to cartooning named MovieSetter

http://elisoftware.org/index.php?title=MovieSetter_(Amiga,_3_1/2%22_Disk)_Gold_Disk_-_1988_USA,_Canada_Release#Reviewsl

And there was an animation artist using it, I bring a link for taking inspiration examples on the concept

Transparent png's + Import videos = Image sequences with alpha. That would be awesome too.

Hi still no import feature...this would be awesome....please!

I'm hoping the import feature will include PNG sequence import. This would really improve FlipaClip's ability to work in conjunction with a desktop animation program - which is how I like to use it.

Currently I can work on an animation in FlipaClip and easily transfer that animation to PC. If I could also easily move animations back from PC into a FlipaClip project, then FlipaClip would REALLY start to become an invaluable part of the animation workflow.

The possibilities! You could make sprite animations! Oh my goodness, its going to be so worth the wait.

The 2 years wait.

Yeah.
